Tour time - blink and you might miss it:)

Last year was hard, for many people, including me. I am grateful for the fresh start that January brings. I should look at everyday as a fresh start but for some reason I seem to be in the attitude of holding off – in a few months I will start working out, in a few months I will read the scriptures more, next week I'll stop watching mindless TV . . . If I'm not careful I will look back at my life and realize I've missed too many moments. In the end, isn't that all that matters – letting moments happen and enjoying them without wishing for the future or bemoaning the past.

So – for my first post of the grand 2012, I am showing you my pad – my home – the first place that is really all mine; no roommates, no family – I am facing life in Salt Lake by conquering the myth that being alone makes one lonely. That is not to say that I might not experience loneliness but to be honest, some of the loneliest times in my life have happened being surrounded by people. So, ready or not, I am embracing the change and the challenge!

Now, keep in mind, it's nothing monumental . . . but it is mine . . .

Somewhere in the Avenues, on N street, is my number 2:)

Studio glory - one side is my living room, the other is the bedroom

As my Mason said recently, "the walls are too white!" I am still in the process of decorating, don't judge me:)

Now is where it gets out of control - - - I give you three views of the kitchen

There you have it folks! Cozy, nice, and, dare I say, perfect for me! (At least for the moment!)
Tomorrow I'll let you glimpse how I kicked off this great year - visiting San Fran and my favorite California family!!!

So brave you are! I love it. Miss independent. I love and miss you. I'm horrible at holding things off,I do it all the time. I'll start exercising when I'm not tired...I will do it when I have time etc.... I'm horrible at it. Looks like I need to be more like you:) thanks for being a great example.
